10 weeks
Our baby's started growing tiny
fingernails and toenails and can now kick and swallow — pretty impressive for
someone the size of a walnut. Within the next few weeks, our featherweight baby will more than double in size, from just over an inch
to nearly 3 inches. Chris and I have our first prenatal visit this week so next
time we should have more news.

measured from the crown (or top) of the head to the rump (or bottom) until
about 20 weeks. After that, they're measured from head to toe.
