12 weeks
Well, we visited the doctor last
week and heard the heartbeat for the first time. It was such a relief to me because this
pregnancy was so unplanned. It was like
an assurance that everything is okay.
Also, I’ve been feeling so not pregnant lately, now that all my 1st
trimester symptoms have faded, it was reaffirming that we are having another
baby and I’m not just getting fat.
This week the baby is about the size
of a lime and unmistakably human. His
eyes have moved closer together and his ears are positioned just where they
should be. There’re only 8 more weeks
before we’ll have the chance to know if we’re having a boy or girl. Any bets or hopes? Email
us!
