Okay, I know a lot of you are chomping at the bit to know…She weighed 17 lbs 5 oz. So, with a guess of 17 lbs 4.5 oz. it looks like GG VanCasteren is the winner of the exclusive Sophie picture. So this last check up was a really great one! Our big girl is now starting solids. Which means rice cereal…but I know that’s boring so I sneak in some applesauce now and then. She’s also steady enough now that we put her in her Johnny jumpup and exersaucer. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving down in Boise and Sophie was baptized on Sunday November 28 at Risen Christ by Father Joe DaSilva. As some of you may recall, Fr. Joe married us, and as most of you do not know, he also baptized me.

Sophie’s Baptism: We are welcoming her into the Catholic family.

The baptism bowl is carved entirely out of 1 piece of marble.

Sophie is dressed in her Uncle Dav’s uniform: beanie, hoodie, and jeans. Her hat says, “shopaholic.” Start ‘em young! Yes, she did go shopping with her Grandma and me the day after Thanksgiving.
